Darker with the Day

As i entered the gallery the first thing i noticed was the larger window that appeared as though i was viewing into the window but could see nothing but darkness. As i turned the corner i seen another window appearing to be the same size as though i was now looking out of it into light. I turned and there were three windows of the same size with the same table but the objects and time of day seem to have changed through the sequence of paintings. As well as the view of the table from different angles, the chair being placed or used at different sides of the table or the chairs not being used at all. All three paintings consisted of a tsble, and two chairs with one painting containing also a recorder, candlestick and quart of juice, this particular painting had the effect on me that it was possibly in the early morning. The second table consisted of the same objects and added also a gallon of milk, salt shaker and soda and the time of day appeared to be mid-day. The third and final painting was again of the same table, now missing the gallon of milk and salt shaker and appeared to be in the evening possibly. All three paintings used the colors of gray, black and white and seemed to be very similar. Subtle changes such as the chair position, objects differing on the table, and position of chair, and the candle being slightly burned being the differences i seen. I am still not sure if it was about the table, the views from different angles of the table, about elapsed time in a day, or all of the above. I did however like them with a favorite being the larger windows and just the simplicity of them.
